The EU project “XR4CRAFTS – Extended Reality (XR) for Crafts” developed tailor-made content and concepts for the educational use of extended reality in practical training in crafts. This included the use of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Virtual Reality haptics.
About us
XR4CRAFTS developed, tested, evaluated and transferred teaching and learning scenarios enriched with XR. Trainers and vocational school teachers were trained didactically and methodically to use AR, VR and VR haptics in practical training. The focus of the two-year project (10/22-09/24) was on the following professions: bricklayers, carpenters, painters and varnishers, and parquet fitters.
Work packages
The project consists of four work packages (WP).
